An glacier above the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon in Iceland has melted significantly in recent years due to climate change. As pieces of the glacier melt and fall off, they float across the lagoon and out to sea, where they are washed back ashore and melt. The area includes black sand beaches and the well known Diamond Beach that is one of Iceland's most popular tourism destinations.
